Youth Parliament
The Youth Parliament is an annual event in Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) that helps students learn about how the Indian parliament works. The event is held at three levels: regional, zonal, and national.
The Youth Parliament is a platform for students to:
- Participate in parliamentary-style debates, discussions, and decision-making processes
- Foster leadership skills, civic awareness, and a deeper understanding of democratic principles
- Gain insights into governance and policy issues
- Discuss national issues on a large scale in front of experienced moderators
- Create a community to discuss and come up with possible solutions
